Copy Text Increment (or Decrement) (included in the Text Collection Tools)

Text Increment (or Decrement) About

Copy Text Increment (or Decrement) works on Text, MText or Attribute values.
First it copies the selected entity then it increments (or decrements) the numeric value at the end of a text or the last letter at the end of the text.
The Text, MText or Attribute can be part of a block.

Text Increment (or Decrement) Features

- copies Text, MText or Attribute, then it increments (or decrements) its value.
- pressing the Ctrl button when selecting the entity will cause the text to decrement.
- can be used inside blocks and outside of blocks.
- it works on the last alphanumeric character of the selected entity.
Examples:
AA becomes AB
aa becomes ab
AZ becomes AA
aa becomes ab
- if the last character is part of a number, the changes apply to the whole number (Ex: E99 becomes E100).
- non-alphanumeric characters are ignored (no changes on the selected text).

Text Increment (or Decrement) Usage

- Click on Copy Text Increment (or Decrement) button then select a Text, MText or an Attribute in the active drawing.

- move the mouse to the desired location of the copied entity and click to position it.
- can be used inside blocks and outside of blocks.
- once activated, the tool remains active and the user can continue using it on other text entities.
