Text Increment (or Decrement) works on Text, MText or Attribute values. It increments (or decrements) the numeric value at the end of a text or the last letter
at the end of the text.
The Text, MText or Attribute can be part of a block.
Features

- pressing the Ctrl button when selecting the entity will cause the text to decrement.
- can be used inside blocks and outside of blocks.
- it works on the last alphanumeric character of the selected entity.
Examples:
AA becomes AB
aa becomes ab
AZ becomes AA
aa becomes ab
- if the last character is part of a number, the changes apply to the whole number (Ex:
E99 becomes E100).
- non-alphanumeric characters are ignored (no changes on the selected text).
Usage
- Click on Text Increment (or Decrement) button then select a Text, MText or an Attribute in the active drawing.
- pressing the Ctrl button when selecting the entity will cause the text to decrement.
- can be used inside blocks and outside of blocks.
- once activated, the tool remains active and the user can continue using it on other text entities.
- to cancel it, press Esc button, or click any other button in the AutoCAD menu.
